Located in downtown San Carlos, Hamon Washoku is a contemporary, upscale Japanese restaurant featuring a highly traditional menu, both in preparation and presentation. “Hamon” translates as literature of the blade with Washoku simply meaning “food of Japan”—a name meant to convey the artistry of the fine knife work practiced by the restaurant’s head chef Suzuki-san.
